1915
McAllister Spring was founded in 1915, as one of Canada’s original manufacturers of automotive leaf springs, thriving for the most part on servicing the local logging industry.
1972
In 1972, ownership purchased hot wound coil spring manufacturer, Chamberlain Spring, another locally based company with a strong customer following.
2002
In 2002, McAllister formally launched the Tuftruck Brand into the marketplace to better serve the Class 5 truck aftermarket. Customers had been calling us, looking for something better for their pick-ups. Being a customer oriented business we listened, and the brand was born.
1964
In 1964, McAllister Spring was sold and new ownership took over.
1993
In 1993, after outgrowing its space, McAllister Spring was moved to its new 40,000 sq.ft. facility in Surrey, BC, and was renamed McAllister Industries.
2010
And In 2010, McAllister amalgamated with Chamberlain Spring, incorporating its machinery and production into its facility in Surrey BC.
